Attorney Mike Rudolph has been practicing criminal defense for 35 years in Appleton Wisconsin. He is considered by many to be the best criminal defense lawyer in the Fox River valley. Mike has tried more than a hundred jury trials and is known as a trial lawyer. He has practiced in more than twenty five counties in Wisconsin. He now tries to limit his practice to counties near Appleton such as Outagamie, Calumet, Winnebago, Brown, and Oconto.

Mike has been teaching other lawyers how to try cases for 31 of his 35 years. He has taught how to defend homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle at the State Public Defender Conference, numerous drunk driving seminars for lawyers for Lhrman, PESI, and the Drunk Driving Roundtable. He has taught traffic law at the State Bar. He was a featured commentator on WHBY for media cases.

Mike helped to found the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and has been a director on the board of directors all but one year since its creation. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and the Wisconsin Association of Justice.

Mr. Rudolph has won numerous awards. The Appleton Post Crescent named him one of the five best lawyers in the Fox River Valley in 1983. Fox Cities Magazine twice rated lawyers based upon lawyer voting. In 1996 he was named the best Criminal Defense Attorney, best Drug Attorney, and best Drunk Driving Lawyer by his peers. In 2002 he was named best Drug Attorney and best Drunk Driving Lawyer. He was named by Milwaukee Magazine as a Super Lawyer. He won the Advocate’s Prize in 1997 for a successful defense in a homicide case.
